Elizabeth I’s famous Golden Speech was delivered to the House of Commons on 30th November 1601 to address concerns over England’s economic state of affairs. It is a speech that marks the end of Elizabeth’s “Golden Age” as it was the last speech that the Queen gave to Parliament.
