Thales has held a significant presence in Scotland for over 100 years and now employs over 750 people across two main sites in Glasgow and Rosyth. We are a major contributor to the Scottish economy, investing over £140m in 2023 alone and supporting a diverse supply chain.

We work with air forces, navies, armies and joint forces, providing integrated systems and resilient, sovereign capability to equip almost every major platform in service or in development with the UK armed forces.

And we count a wide selection of train operators as clients in the UK alone. Our solutions include signalling, train control, axle counters, interlocking, train protection and warning systems.
