I find it odd that they seem to be ignoring situations where 3+ people need to ride, given that a 2-seat car really isn't significantly more expensive to develop and build that a 4 seat car. however, I'm sure that the vast majority of taxi/rideshare trips are 1-2 people, so they are just expecting to target the bulk of the market.
