Nov 29, 2020 · Although its not an absolute favourite, I did love Soul Music. Specifically Susan and Death, and the Ridcully wizards, who had some of the best lines and wittiness. Susan's character introduction and development was also great. The Buddy and Co. plot line was secondary to me in the enjoyment of the book.

If you are going to be stereotypical about the appearance by saying "Terry also has a bun" (because men can't have buns according to you) then we get to be stereotypical and say Terry sounds more like a man's voice. Mar 8, 2024 · Soul of the Fire was hard to get through, I actually put the series down for almost two years because I couldn’t get through this book. But I’m glad I came back because Faith of the Fallen became my favorite of the series (prior to that it was Temple of the Winds).

Sir Terry was a true master of jokes you don’t get until weeks, months, years later. I had someone mention the pun(e) in Rob Anybody Feegle’s name a few months back, and I literally first read that book 20 years ago and didn’t recognize it until now. Truly a gift that keeps on giving.
