Temazepam is habit forming. So if you take it for for more than 3-4 weeks regularly, there is chance that without it, you would have sleep issue. Thus it is strongly recommended to use it sparingly and off and on; to avoid habit formation. Also it is difficult to stop them as it need long tapering duration; if there is an habit formed.

Aug 4, 2005 · 4 mg of alprazolam is equal to 160 mg temazepam, since we know that 0.5 mg xanax = 20 mg temazepam. so 90-120 mg of temazepam is actually only about 2.25-3 mg of alprazolam. So it takes more alprazolam to get u high than it does temazepam. so if u need 4 mg of alprazolam, u would need to take 8 pills of the 0.5 mg xanax (8 x 0.5 = 4 mg).

Temazepam is not a medication we typically use in dogs but it has been used on occasion. The dose range is quite variable and anywhere from 5 mg to 30 mg every 8-12 hours as needed. I prefer something like Acepromazine or Clomicalm for this, but if Temazepam is all you have then it may be helpful.

None of the medications that you have listed contain Nordiazepam, Oxazepam, or Temazepam. Valium contains Diazepam, which is a medication similar to the above medications.
