Cartoon Network (formerly known as Teletoon) is the English counterpart and sister channel to Télétoon. It broadcasts most of the shows from its French-language counterpart in English, as well as shows acquired from the namesake U.S. cable channel.

In 2012, Teletoon launched a Canadian version of Cartoon Network as a sister network under license from Turner Broadcasting. In February 2023, Corus announced that Teletoon would rebrand as Cartoon Network on March 27, 2023, with the previous Cartoon Network channel concurrently relaunching under Cartoon Network's own sister brand Boomerang.

Teletoon was launched by TPS Jeunesse in 1996. It was part of the basic offer of the French satellite service: TPS (Télévison Par Satellite). There is no link between the French and the Canadian Télétoon. 1999–2004
