Mar 8, 2016 · My research on the Taurus models 450 and 455 show two frames. You have the frame with a fixed sight then you have a frame set up with an adjustable rear sight in both models. I do believe both these versions in the 450 and 455 are the same respectfully.

Dec 29, 2019 · Taurus 450 or 445. I've wanted the .45LC 450 since it was new, but they are hard to find and have become quite pricey when you can find one. So, I might go with the .44spl 445, though their prices have been rising since they were discontinued as well (they are cheaper and easier to find since they were made longer).

Apr 27, 2002 · I have both a S&W 342 .38spl and a Taurus 445 .44spl. The 445 is a 2" stainless concealed hammer 5-shot. I do find the 342 has a bit more snap to the recoil using 158gr jfp handloads than the 445 44 spl using 185gr jhp handloads.

May 2, 2022 · Taurus has the 450 and 445 and Charter has the Bulldog series. I recently handled one of each in a store and thought the Taurus felt a little better in build quality and action; the Charter was a little janky but okay overall.
