The Tatra 700 is a rear-engined luxury car released in 1996 by the Czech car maker Tatra. It was essentially a heavily restyled version of the Tatra 613 model it replaced.

With the T-625 project shelved, Tatra enlisted British designer Geoff Wardle to freshen the T-613 into the T-700 seen here. The prototype was produced at the Příbor factory in 1995, and it was introduced to the public in 1996, in six variations.

May 16, 2017 · Tatra’s latest model, the T700, is a heavily facelifted version of the Vignale-styled T613 of 1970. The mechanical package is pure Tatra; an air-cooled twin cam V8 displacing 3.5 litres and developing 147kW at 5700rpm, and with peak torque of 300Nm coming on stream at 4000rpm, and it’s coupled to a five-speed manual transaxle.
