Apr 24, 2017 · Just looking at the specs/requirements on the Brown web site - offset requires more HP to pull than an equivalent tandem. Offset does leave the field in a rougher condition but like anything offset, it would allow you to get closer to things - fence line, buildings, etc.

Aug 16, 2014 · The real answer is none except they don't leave a ridge in the middle. Most offsets are heavy, but a tandem could be built as heavily as an offset and would cut as well. Typically an offset is only one section, although there are some folding ones made.
