With a son on the autism spectrum, initiatives supporting autism awareness has always been near and dear to my heart. I co-founded the Chaka Khan Foundation in 1999.

On January 8, 2025, our sweet friends Rob and Tammy McCrary, along with Tammy's twin daughters Scarlett and Cassidy, Mama De, as well as their sweet doggies Buddy and Gidget, experienced a devastating loss of their home as a result of the Altadena "Eaton" fire.
