Jan 15, 2025 · All of my Glocks have Talon grips, either rubber or granular. I was gifted some granular grips for a Gen4 with the large blackstrap. They have been sitting in my safe and I can’t use them so I decided to use just the sides by cutting the grips. So I just have the sides done and I am surprised of how good they feel and work.

May 4, 2015 · Traction grips is a smaller operation then Talon, so not as popular, but produce super good quality / fitting grips. Ive used them on 4 different pistols, none of them ever showed signs of wear. The talons wrap around the rear of the handle, and IMO look out of place when just folded over / stuck on the back.

Mar 19, 2021 · I had the Rubber Talon Grips on my G43 and they were not grippy enough to make them worth their price. and the grip tape kind gave rubbed my side raw (IWB), plus my shirts always stuck to it, a big no-no. I just switched to a G43x for EDC and I should be receiving this week a set of Pro grips for it and for my AR-pistol.

May 14, 2023 · Just installed the Talon PRO texture grip on my G21 Gen3. I also ordered a set of Talon rubber textured grip for my G30 Gen 3 for carry purposes. What's nice is Talon even makes grips for the G30 Gen 3 mags (which I ordered as well).

Jul 1, 2019 · Talon grips use to be about $10 years ago. When they raised their prices, about $18 now, I switched to traction grips. Snowbird.40 was talking about www.tractiongrips.com different company. They work great, I have them on every pistol I own. Amazon has them $10 delivered or order directly from them. Talon priced themselves out of my business..

May 28, 2023 · Finally decided to try Talon Grips for the first time. I've added the granulate style to my G17 that I use as my primary competition pistol. I previously tried some very aggressive decking tape which is similar to the Talon granulate and skateboard tape, but was much sharper.
