Taishan (also known as Taishanshi or Taishan City) is a small beautiful famous Chinese city located 140 kilometers west of Hong Kong, 100 kilometers southwest of Guanzhou, or 80 kilometers west of Macau. It lies along the Guangdong Province coastline on the southwest corner of the Pearl River Delta area bordering the South China Sea.

Taishan's Youth Vanguard Against Japanese Aggression was formed. 1941: At 1 PM on March 3, Japanese troops from Doushan Town marched into Taicheng Town (the capital of Taishan) along the path of Chonglou Town's Tainan Road led by a Chinese traitor. By 4 PM, Taicheng was ceded to the Japanese.

Taishan has 20 towns in all. The location of the central urban district, Taicheng Town, is the most popular among them all. However, the other towns have unique distinctive features which also deserves attention.

Located in the southeast section of Taishan City, Sijiu Town is 6 kilometers away from the city’s urban district. It has a total land area of 260 square kilometers. Its forestry land occupies 240,000 acres and its arable land occupies more than 50,000 acres.
