Dec 10, 2021 · A Tabaxi Ranger or Fighter both make a great archer. The ranger base attack capabilities aren't as powerful as the fighters, but they make up a lot of ground with spell casting. If feats are allowed take a look at Sharpshooter if you select fighter or ranger.

Jun 24, 2022 · From a QUICK look at tabaxi racial tree there isnt anything there for archery, except the dex in the cores. So a tabaxi archer is pretty much the same as any other archer that doesnt go deep in racial tree. In addition to that, an archer in a group ideally dont want the focus of enemy mobs, for many reasons.

Dec 10, 2021 · nothing wrong with tabaxi archer. and also nothing wrong with Ranger or Fighter. it really comes down to how you want to flavour your character. Nature based, makes more sense for some ranger subclasses. combat/military more fighter along the lines of fighter. Battlemaster or Samuri make amazing archers

He's looking at Ranger at the moment, but Fighter could potentially be on the table, especially with Arcane Archer being a thing now.
