The TV Parental Guidelines are a television content rating system in the United States that was first proposed on December 19, 1996, by the United States Congress, the American television industry, and the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).

TV-PG (Parental Guidance Suggested) - This program contains material that parents may find unsuitable for younger children (some sources may usually say suitable for ages 10+). Many parents may want to watch it with their younger children.

There is a later version of the PG rating where the voice-over says: "Ang susunod na programa ay rated PG. Patnubay at gabay ng magulang ay kailangan sa mga batang manonood." On TV5, the voice-over of the SPG rating is different.

Each TV network have own versions of Classifications issued by the MTRCB, both text namely on parental classification which both defined in English and Filipino respectively.

The television programming that is rated TV-PG in the United States by the TV Parental Guidelines signifies content with parental guidance suggested. It corresponds to the MPA's PG rating for movies and the ESRB's E10+ rating for video games.
