Dec 15, 2024 · The good thing is that the TT-02 is perhaps the most versatile touring car among the Tamiya options given it has plenty of variants and is easy to mod. Having said that, the bone-stock TT-02 excels at being a non-competitive carefree runner. Low cost, easy to find parts, reasonable performance.

Jul 1, 2019 · How is the TT-02RR's suspension more tunable than the TT-02S? It looks like the TT-02S' suspension links use adjustable turnbuckles like a normal touring car. The TT-02S' suspension also has fiber-reinforced damper towers, whereas the TT-02RR's suspension appears to use plain plastic damper towers.

Mar 24, 2017 · As a minimum you need to add CVA shocks and bearings to add to a standard TT02 if racing. The cost of those alone is more than the differential of a standard TT02 and TT02 Type S. The rest of the TT02 Type S upgrades such as the frp uprights and adjustable turnbuckles make a huge difference to performance.
