Television South West (TSW) was the ITV franchise holder for the South West England region from 1 January 1982 until 31 December 1992, broadcasting from studios at Derry's Cross in Plymouth, Devon.

TSW Clock. TSW promoted itself as "Television Simply Wonderful" on its opening night in 1982. It ceased broadcasting ten years later, having lost its licence at the next franchise round. This computer-generated clock was TSW's only timepiece throughout its decade on air.

Television South West (TSW), affectionately known as Television Simply Wonderful, secured the franchise to succeed Westward Television in 1982. Although TSW acquired Westward and began broadcasting on August 11, 1981, it retained the on-screen Westward identity until its official launch on New Year’s Day 1982.

Accompanying clock ident: The TSW logo is situated into the lower right corner of the screen, with the zigzag extending and forming a light blue clock face, with white hands and green squares for the "numbers". This would be used until the station's demise.

I heard the TSW clock was a self contained box of electronics, very advanced for its time and quite stylish. I wonder if it went to a good home ;)
