TRT became a founding member of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) in 1972 and joined the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU) in 2004. TRT operates 17 television channels—five of which are in HD—and 17 radio stations, offering diverse content including general entertainment, music, sports, children’s programming, and news.
