I believe for HD the TLR-1 is ideal, low profile, and light weight but it doesn't necessarily have the throw or range for other applications. Jan 28, 2019 · TRL-1 is a great pistol light. It's used as a light when it's needed and then it's stored and protected in the holster. It's a poor exposed rifle light. The Protac RM1/RM2 are a great package. Robust, great mounting system, and pressure switch you can put where you want and put the light were you want.
