The 6300 is a single direction record, bi-directional playback deck with four heads and three motors. Other features included an index counter repeat for replaying a particular section automatically, bias and EQ switches for normal or high-output/low noise tape and record lock-out switches and dual-scale VU meters.

Jul 22, 2006 · The Teac A-6300 has always been one of my all time favorite Teac reel decks..along with the 4300SX and the rare 7010GSL...the 6300 is well made,, great almost bullet proof motors, not like the cheaper smaller DC motors of later Teacs..its basically the big brother of the 4300...with continuous auto reverse....and 10 inch capacity....good ...

May 30, 2018 · Not full of bells and whistles but it is a quarter track, stereo deck and auto reverses. These were made in the mid to late 70's, about 4 years all told at most. I know the A4300 was from roughly 1975-1977/78 or so. Sound quality wise, very good with good heads and well calibrated and recapped.

Equipped with 3J mechanism (Just Bias/Just Equalizer/Just Level) to cope with low noise tape. With this mechanism, you can set the bias, equalizer, and level switch independently to the optimum position for the tape. The head uses a high-hardness permalloy head with a high saturation level of magnetic flux and less wear.

Jan 14, 2013 · I recently purchased a Teac A-6300 and have some questions regarding tape. 1. What are you using? 2. Will the RMGI tape work with this unit? What grade (LPR 35?)? 3.
