The Bendix TABS-6 Advanced system is the first-ever single-channel trailer stability system. It’s a simple but innovative solution that delivers rollover mitigation in a simple package designed to meet your fleet’s needs – a revolutionary single-channel approach that is tank-mountable.

Standard Bendix TABS-6 module ECU connectors use a TTMA 97-99 5-pin Delphi Weather Pack connector for brake light power, constant power, ground, and the trailer-mounted ABS indicator lamp.

The Bendix® TABS-6 module is an integrated trailer ABS controller and modulator for air-braked heavy-duty trailers, semi-trailers and dollies. The module acts as a relay valve during normal braking, but during ABS events, it will intervene to help improve stability.

The TABS‐6 Advanced MC module includes two primary and two secondary wheel speed sensor connections separate from the main vehicle pigtail harnesses, and each requires a separate harness.

The purpose of this Bulletin is to assist technicians when troubleshooting Bendix® TABS‐6TM Advanced single‐channel trailer ABS modules, where an “Internal Lateral Acceleration Sensor ‐ Mounting Error” (internal code 14D00, or SID‐FMI 99‐14, or blink code 8‐1), is causing an illuminated trailer ABS lamp.
