The near 100-ton vehicle was initially designated a heavy tank. It was re-designated as the 105 mm gun motor carriage T95 in 1945, and then renamed in 1946 as the super heavy tank T28. Only two prototypes were built before the project was terminated. [3]

Introduced in Update 1.49 "Weapons of Victory", the T95 is a super-heavy tank unlike anything else in the US tree. The T95 is extremely slow but is also exceptionally well-armoured and well-armed.

The video began going viral within the War Thunder community, as the T95 tank was dubbed "Tutel." On October 2nd, YouTuber Munitions posted War Thunder gameplay that transitioned into a "Tutel" remix, gaining over 111,000 views in roughly seven months (shown below, right).

Therefore in April 1945 the T28 was redesignated as the Carriage, Motor, 105-mm Gun, T95. This name brought it inline with other turretless gun motor carriages.
