May 26, 2024 · Shots made by the T48 rifle aren’t doing damage to targets only a few actually connect to harm enemies. It’s a vanilla game bug but it can accrue with weapon mods that use 308 ammo from what I understand. The munitions add-on should have fix it. Not sure how to fix.

Jan 16, 2023 · The FAL (in the form of the T48 rifle) had already been trialed and rejected by the Army (albeit more for political reasons than technical ones). With the M14 and M16 already in service, the Army and USMC weren't going to add another rifle to the mix, one of the reasons the Stoner 63 was never adopted by either service.

The T44 rifle should have not been chosen as the M14. It was the T48 that should have been chosen! The T48 aka the FN FAL! And NATO should have been using 7mm NATO aka .280 British, not 7.62x51mm NATO! THE TRIALS WERE RIGGED!

T48, the FAL built for US rifle trials to compete against the T44 (M14). This one is the original FN model sent over, making it for all intents and purposes the original 7.62x51mm FAL.

Oct 18, 2021 · A rifle built to be as light and as handy as possible wouldn't make for an excellent long-lived MG platform, as they are required to withstand extreme round counts. And the AR-10 has direct lineage to the shortened Commando AR-15 variants that were broadly SMG's, early PDW's at least, not to mention the actual 9mm SMG's as well.
