Mar 24, 2008 · Here I'm gonna place a build log of my latest diorama. It's gonna be a step by step with photo's and text and off course a blue background. The idea is to have a bridge with a T-80U and a figure laying next to a ravine with a lot of nature. The tank has hit the wall of the bridge and destroyed it and the figure is looking like: "OOPS!".

The T-80U was the T-80B all grown up (they grow up so fast). It had the armor to go toe-to-toe with any other tank in the world. It was still small, fast, and deadly. Maybe not as racehorse beautiful as the T-80B, but it could shrug off hits the T-80B would succumb to.

Mar 12, 2014 · I read the other day that in 1992 the UK MOD bought through a third party at least one T-80U tank from Russia. I cannot find a photo or find any information how it was painted. Does anyone here have any more info on it?

Oct 30, 2013 · In contrast to my glacial aircraft builds this year, I was very excited by the release of an accurate T-80U, a kit I wanted to build for many years. It goes together very well indeed, but personally would prefer link/link length tracks over the (very nice) rubber bands

Very hard to make, but the most accurate and amazing Xact Models T-80U at 1/35 scale. Revolution resin figure and voyager PE parts are used.
