The T-72M4 CZ is an upgraded Czech version of the Soviet-designed, Czechoslovakia made main battle tank T-72M. [1] The only user of this tank is the Czech Army. Between 2003 and 2006, 30 tanks were produced. The main armament is a 125 mm gun 2A46M. The crew comprises a gunner, driver and commander.

It was a real upgrade in firepower, protection, speed and even fire accuracy compared to previous models, and even contemporary western MBTs. Unlike the T-62, the T-72 became an instant hit, was well-modernized over decades and is still frontline today, in thirty-six armies.

The T-72M is powered by the same V-46-6 supercharged V12 diesel engine as the T-72 and T-72A. Due to having less armor and thus a lower combat weight the T-72M actually has a slight increase of mobility over the T-72A.
