Being a Syuen fan is a tough job lol but I'm glad to see more people who love her. Something to think, despite everything she has done and how she has treated the commander, she trusts us enough to follow us to the surface without asking much questions.

And to add more fuel on the fire, Missilis, Syuen's company, is literally the "Necessary Evil" company with things like M.M.R who are at the same time indispensable for the Ark safety (like creating life-saving drugs) but use very morally dubious methods. As players, Syuen is our very first encounter with this "normalize evil".
