Syke Farm Campsite is situated in The Lake District, which is home to some of the best lakes, mountains and walks in England, with plenty of activities to suit everybody's needs.

We always try to make camping at Syke Farm Campsite a laid back and relaxing experience. The campsite has slowly evolved over the last 40 years from a basic field accommodating an occasional backpacker through the summer months, now being a prominent tourist hotspot popular with walkers and holiday makers.

Our Yurt's are situated on Syke Farm Campsite, in the village of Buttermere, furnished to a high standard and will sleep up to 4 people with stunning views over the beautiful Lake District scenery. Both Yurt's are 16ft wide and are tall enough to stand up inside.

Our Shepherds hut is a cosy, fully equipped glamping experience located at Syke farm campsite in Buttremere village, only a short walk to Crummock water and Buttermere not to mention the multiple fells ready for you to conquer at your door step.

Syke Farm Campsite is a laid-back campsite in keeping with the 'get away from it all' location. As a result we do not tolerate drunk and disorderly customers. (which results in loud, abusive, aggressive and disruptive behaviour.)
