She has those pants as Overgirl and in the protective suite but there are splashes of accent colors there. The season 5 suit is just bad design.

Supergirl isn't doing well against the Kryptonite but her team arrives in time and she gets the suit on. She uses the thunder clap technique on them. Once they return from being vaporized, Supergirl knows she's got to retreat.

Looks like they've taken some inspiration from the CW Superman suit with the way the cape attaches to the suit, having a more pronounced belt and in the threads & structure of the actual suit. It looks really good, surprisingly high quality for the CW too!
