Fimiston Open Pit, stockpiles and Mt Charlotte Underground. More than 13 million tonnes of ore per annum is processed through the Fimiston Processing Plant. Approximately 13 million tonnes of (dry solid) tailings are currently produced annually from processing operations and deposited across various TSFs.
The Super Pit remains in an interesting life cycle phase as it pushes forward with its proposed expansion of the mine while continuing its consultation around mine closure, which is now expected in 2021.
