Babydoll is the main protagonist of Sucker Punch. Even in her darkest moments of despair, the idealistic Babydoll never loses her perspective on right and wrong. She may seem like a fragile and naive little schoolgirl, but her enemies underestimate her at their own peril.

Babydoll slips into a fantasy world in which the asylum is a brothel owned by mobster Blue and she and the other patients are sex slaves. She befriends fellow patients Amber, Blondie, Rocket, and Rocket's sister, Sweet Pea. Dr. Gorski is their dance instructor.

Babydoll, panic-stricken, escapes her temporary "holding cell" by climbing out her window and finds her stepfather's .45 caliber pistol. Babydoll stops her stepfather as he is trying to break into the closet where her sister has locked herself.
