Oct 30, 2024 · I just printed a new one for my Su-40, using a 0.8mm nozzle. The canopy resting on the canard surface and on the model in flight is the old one. It was not so good because I printed 2 walls and some bubbles got trapped between the two layers.

Jul 9, 2014 · After the first flights you can get a good idea and fine tune whatever is needed. Personally, after the first flights I tend to stick to full (adjusted) rates and only go mid or low for very particular maneuvers or scenarios. On The Su-35, I'd only reduce throws to make very precise slow rolls or landing when set up near tail heaviness.

Aug 31, 2022 · I downloaded the files, sliced with PrusaSlicer, and did a test print for the the section between fuse 2 and 3. WOW! The fit is, well, astonishing. The SU is not my style of plane but I'm seriously considering printing one just because it is so well designed. Looking forward to your next project! Jim

Oct 11, 2023 · Flew Flyfan Mig-25 on twin Freewing 2500kv inrunner 64mm fans on twin 50A ESC's (from LX Su-57 stock setup), plenty of power and she still handled well. The freewing setup would be a great upgrade for this Su-27, just a thought
