Sep 21, 2015 · As you look further around the internet for information about the Stone Soup folktale you will come across a cited reference from the Dictionary of Phrase and Fable (Brewer 1900), written by Ebenezer Cobham Brewer, and published in England in 1900 that a synonym for Stone Soup is St. Bernard’s Soup.

With access to Stone Soup online they will also have access to our archive of issues going back twenty years: roughly 2,400 pages of Stone Soup stories, poems, and book reviews. All the same material, and more.
