May 22, 2019 · Stinkfly's goo can be neutralized by Buglizard's fog. My Opinion: So far, Stinkfly is one of the underrated/underused aliens from Ben's roster. While not being among my favourite aliens, I still think he should have been used more often, his design is cool, he's a pretty useful alien in general and his voice is funny.

I don't think I've ever met anyone that thinks Reboot Stinkfly is better than the original, and people being Reboot Stinkfly fans doesn't automatically mean that they prefer him to classic Stinkfly. Not to say that there aren't people that prefer Reboot Stinkfly over classic since there most likely is, and there's nothing wrong with that.

New Stinkfly definitely fits the modern "hero" ideal more with its more humanoid outlooks and less putrid color palette, but that defeats entirely the purpose of Stinkfly's original design to begin with (on top of being inherently less interesting if you ask me).
