Jun 7, 2023 · If you power it off, then hold the QaM button (...) while powering it on, it will take you into the safe boot menu. From there you can choose "Previous", which will undo the last update made. Let it do its thing and boot back into SteamOS.

Sep 6, 2022 · When it boots to the bootmanager then you'll select the flash drive to boot from that which should look like the Desktop mode. Once it loads you'll see a couple options on the desktop and you will want to select the "Reimage Steam Deck" and double click it to start the process.

Apr 22, 2019 · Also when you say restart-to-boot animation: Are you seeing the steam logo, the steam logo with a little progress bar underneath, the bubbles-rising-through-water animation, or something else? SteamOS uses the grub bootloader. Can you be more specific about what happens the first time you reboot into the newly installed system?
