Feb 4, 2007 · MY BA varies from front to back by around 20~25mm (660/665/680/675). The BF whilst flatter, sits 25mm lower than the BA at the back (655/655/645/655). Just trying to figure out if it's natural variation or something has sagged or maybe when they redid the BA's diff they did something wrong.

Jan 30, 2009 · In answer to your question, the B series has plenty of static weight (too much really) over the front axle. Ideally a 50/50 front rear balance is what you are after, but not possible in a B Series unless you add weight to the rear which will only make it go, stop and corner worse.

The BA Falcon engine has similar architecture to the previous generation 4-litre six but the biggest improvement is the switch to a DOHC, 24 valve head offering infinitely variable cam timing over a 60 degree range.

Mar 12, 2012 · What boost does a BA and also a BF XR6 Turbo run? A friend of mine has a BA MKII and it's only running on 4psi and I wasn't sure if that was normal? His is manual and my BF is auto which will make a difference, but mine seems to go alot harder than his!

May 5, 2004 · A stock BA or XR6 will have about 122 to 128rwkw. 134 rwkw is a good result probably helped by the catback 2.5" exhaust. A gain of 9rwkw from a unichip on a basicly stock engine is very good and with 143rwkw I would say you are getting about 205-210 fwkw now.

Jul 18, 2004 · The AU XR6 HP sedan was quicker across the 400m than the AU XR6 VCT sedan. This seems to be due to it's lighter weight, not having IRS even though it has higher max output (172kw vs 164 kw) and higher max torque (366Nm vs 374Nm). The BA XR6 NA produces max power of 182Kw & max torque of 380Nm but weighs another 100kg more.
