Nov 27, 2023 · I used SRX380 to establish a cluster. After confirming that it was normal, I inserted two SFP and two SFP+. The original plan was to set reth to xe-0/0/17 xe-0/0/18, but it was deleted for other reasons and replaced with ge-0/0/14 ge-0/0/15.

Jul 18, 2022 · I'm trying to setup a gigabit SFP in my SRX380. On other 10gb devices I have to change the port from " xe-0/0/18 " to " ge-0/0/18 ", but when I try and do this on the SRX380 it says the port doesn't exist. Leaving it as xe-0/0/18 and connecting it does show 1000mbps connection, so does this mean it's ok to leave it as an xe not a ge? Yes.

Nov 6, 2020 · Are you configuring the interface as ge when attempting to use the 1Gb SFP? Do you know the part number of the SFP you tried? Officially supported ones are here: https://apps.juniper.net/home/srx380/hardware-compatibility. Try checking how is the chassis configured. See if something along those lines below do it.

Aug 28, 2024 · The 10G SFP XE ports on SRX380 will not come up. The issue is SRX380's having auto-negotiation disabled by default and cannot be enabled, this is the expected behavior of the device. This means a workaround is to disable auto-negotiation on the peer device.
