
F45 Could Be Restored to SPSF ‘Kodachrome’
Mar 21, 2023 · The California-based company said it recently purchased a former Santa Fe F45 and plans on painting it into the “Kodachrome” scheme of the failed Southern Pacific Santa Fe, according to Diselmotive’s Noah McCann.

Fully half of Santa Fe's F45 fleet was repainted in SPSF colors. The scheme didn't look quite as good on the big cowl units as it did on hood units, but on the other hand, there was never any doubt that the second pair of initials would have fit in the noseband!
