The MedeaWiz® SS-38 serial splitter is a serial control / trigger splitter and buffer to control 8 or more Sprite® or Sprite® 4K video players from a single serial port, Hydra, MSA-B motion sensor or push button. It is powered from the Sprite.

The MedeaWiz® model DV-S4 Sprite® 4K is an Ultra High Definition digital video repeater capable of 4k @60 fps HDMI output with high quality stereo audio and surround sound using an external AV receiver. It has a direct trigger input and a 2-way communications serial port.

The Sprite gives feedback reports every half second telling the file playing, and also reports the end of file mark. It has a single direct push-button input that can trigger on contacts or High or Low level change.

The Sprite®4K DV-S4, from MedeaWiz, is a high quality, high reliability, low cost interactive media player that plays ultra high definition (UHD), high definition (HD) and standard definition (SD) digital video and/or audio media files from a standard micro-SD or USB memory device.

The DV-S4 Sprite® 4K Ultra High Definition media player can play UHD video up to full 4K@60 fps with HDMI output and also adds optical audio out and supports 5.1 surround sound. It is slightly larger than the DV-S1 and uses only 2.5 Watts of power.
