Jan 25, 2019 · Tarantulas only have a sucking stomach and its mouth parts filter down to 5 microns if i remember, so no they do not consume exoskeleton. If your not finding a bolus its stashed away, buried, webbed into a dirt ball or just tiny depending on the prey item.

Nov 7, 2024 · Buuut most of the specimens they sell are super tiny slings. I think that I'd be able to manage caring for a sling even as my first spider, at least one of the hardiest species, and even if most tarantulas grow up real slow I honestly wouldn't mind that. I think raising a spider from a tiny sling to adulthood is a very appealing idea for me.

Nov 21, 2023 · As for the body (if they passed) You can bury if you'd like but I like to Taxidermy mine to hang on my oddity wall, or in a cloche and they can be with me forever. Another side note, I would say to try again as soon as your feel ready.
