Jan 18, 2024 · It shows the spelling error, but does not provide spelling suggestions in the right click pop up menu. I checked the editor settings and these are all turned on. I also restarted the application. In the new Outlook for Windows, simply clicking in a word which is flagged as misspelled will display spelling suggestions.

Feb 4, 2025 · I reverted to Legacy Outlook and saw that both check and correct spelling and grammar were active, even though I never had it set that way when I was using it, before New Outlook. I unchecked all the spelling, grammar and autocorrect choices, then went back to New Outlook. Now, at least I don't see red squiggles in my emails while composing.

Spelling Icon missing My internet heading has changed and a number of the Icons have gone missing ie the spell check Icon.
