May 13, 2022 · I'm in space, the 1x1 is right in the middle, facing upward (from the Large grid), and it just won't attach... did something change? To the best of my knowledge, you could never attach a small grid block to a large grid, and vice versa without some form of 'adapter', such as a rotor with a small/large grid head. Dec 11, 2017 · As a matter of fact, I use 1x1 wheels as the landing gear for my non -VTOL airplane (using wings mod). It can take off and land on a runway just fine. Edit; Though, I don't think it would really hurt if they gave it some more ground clearance.
