The London, Brighton and South Coast Railway (LB&SCR) E2 class was a class of 0-6-0 T steam locomotives designed by Lawson Billinton, intended for shunting and short distance goods trains. Ten examples were built between 1913 and 1916.

May 8, 2014 · I've scored a Hornby E2 in Southern olive green, numbered B104 from ebay for twenty notes, which I'm sort-of pleased about. I'm planning to detail and repaint it - it looks so toy-like at the moment. At the very least weather it senseless. My concern is what number and livery such a loco would have worn c1930.

Definitely worth buying second hand when compared to new - good value. Postage was reasonable. The loco is in good condition and runs well.
