The South Gate (Croatian: Južna gradska vrata) is one of the historic city gates to the old town of Trogir. Since the gates used to be closed at night, there is a building to the right of the gate where visitors arriving late could/had to stay overnight.

To the east side of the gate, leaned to old town walls, is a so called Small Loggia used in the past for passengers after closing the gate, to rest and wait for the morning to enter the town.
