Apr 2, 2025 · The MUTO s (ムートー Mūtō) are parasitic Titans who first appeared in the 2014 Legendary Pictures film Godzilla. Prehistoric parasites that thrived at the same time as Godzilla 's species, the MUTOs survived by attacking and killing members of Godzilla's species and laying their spores in their radioactive carcasses.

Not officially, but fans commonly use Hokmuto (Male), Femuto (Female), Primuto (MUTO Prime), and Barmuto (Barb / Queen).

The MUTO Prime, also dubbed Titanus Jinshin-Mushi or simply Jinshin-Mushi, was a giant parasitic Titan in the MonsterVerse created by Legendary Pictures who was introduced 2019 comic, Godzilla: Aftershock.

Despite the actions and hostility of the 2014 MUTO pair, the Queen MUTO that was awakened in 2019 apparently conforms to the Titans' hierarchy to some extent, and is consequently mutually tolerant of Godzilla upon bowing to him as the new Alpha after he defeats Ghidorah.
