Sorlock is my favorite 5e build but in BG3 it's much worse. No restriction on casting multiple levelled spells combined with the 50% sorcery point cost increase for quicken means you should probably almost never quicken Eldritch Blast. On top of that, no Hexblade means no armor, no shield, no Hexblade's Curse.

Jan 19, 2024 · Other than that there is EB spam Sorlock. I don’t think there’re any super good bladelock/sorc builds. Not to say that you couldn’t make something viable enough to beat the game, just that it’s not gonna come close to the best this multiclass can offer

Sorlock doesn't have the best spell progression and the coffeelock benefits of tabletop are much less useful when you can Long Rest so readily. With Bardlock, you have 6 pact slots per Long Rest that can be used liberally on Dissonent Whispers, Faerie Fire, and Tasha's Hideous Laughter throughout the entire playthrough.
