Oct 19, 2023 · Sonamy is a fine enough ship in my book, but I much prefer the rarepair from the Fleetway comics (not to mention Amy's characterization there). No clue who to put Sonic with, though. Blaze, maybe?

The sonamy fanbase is large so of course there is going to be more bad fans. For example you could say the same thing about the entire Sonic fanbase. There are people like that in every ship, but saying all sonamy fans are like that is just misinfomative and just …

An example of this would be if you took art to depicting just Sonic or Amy with no mention of Sonamy in it and put a Sonamy related title on it. An exception to this rule, however, is if the original art source that depicts just Sonic or Amy has mention of Sonamy in the title or description.

Most Sonamy shippers have accepted that it’s not gonna be canon. In fact all shippers have and should have accepted that it’s not gonna be canon. That doesn’t mean that people aren’t gonna still enjoy the ship, and that doesn’t mean that people aren’t gonna revel in any interaction the two characters have.
