Voice Responses are contextually triggered lines that play after the player has achieved something, for instance killing a certain amount of enemies with a Primary or Melee Weapon, or the player has triggered something, like being set on fire.

The Soldier points to a trash can with a piece of paper attached to the lid reading "GET IN" with an arrow pointing toward the trash in the can. He says one of the following lines, points forward, points twice at the trash, and closes the lid, kicking the trash can away.

One of the lines said by the Soldier during this taunt is a reference to the 1979 film Apocalypse Now, where Lieutenant Colonel Bill Kilgore says that "[he] loves the smell of napalm in the morning" because the napalm "smelled like victory".

Responses are a feature similar to voice commands, where your character may deliver a line of speech when a response rule is met.
