Aug 27, 2017 · The ones recently coming in are from Suriname, if u trust ur importer. Can get 10in most Home aquariums. Like to be kept in groups. Skittish a bit but better when in groups. Will take a little time to get off of live food but not as bad tiger fish and armatus. I have one from Jeff Rapps and he’s an interesting fish.

After a few years everyone who wanted one has one. 4 years after they move on to produce something else everyone says, "I miss that fish". There are still some green bay snook cichlids around. Maybe N Nitmer will bring the reds back to prominence.

Jan 25, 2011 · Hello, I got a snook about 7 inches from Wes. Hes an absolute awesome specimen and has become my favorite. However, in order to plan ahead on his tank size I need to know what he is. Jun 28, 2006 · I saw three red snook last week. They had 2 little guys about 2.5 - 3 inches and they had a large one (about 8 inches) hanging in the tank as well. The large one was a really beautiful fish. I would have loved to pick it up, but I have hit my current limit now with all my fish and tank space.
