Oct 31, 2017 · That experiment turned into the Snipe 2 and sure looks like a great update. There will be 4 versions available in November, the Snipe 2, Lite, Strong and UHM (Ultra High Module). The fuselage shape has been optimized for drag reduction and there's an all new layout for the 4 in the pod servo setup along with provisions for quick-change ballast.

I usually build much bigger radio models but I could not resist this as I had one as a lad. It is big enough to put some modern light RC gear in but that would spoil the fun! All the best

Jun 3, 2015 · Snipe likes a bit more air speed than some other birds plus you want airspeed (dynamic pressure on control surfaces) for control authority in active (turbulent) air. Slow Flight – 4mm down flap, trimmed for slow flight BUT not near stall speed, use a little margin here, and only good for “light” air, early morning frog farts and such.
