I have an Agfa SnapScan e50 Scanner which installed just fine under windows XP (32-bit) but Windows 7 (64-bit) will not even recognize that it exists. What is different about Windows 7 Drivers that the scanner installation does not properly install the drivers? Or, is it the fact that I am using the 64-bit version of Windows 7?

Hi Daphne I am Dave, an Independent Advisor, I will help you with this . . . Fujitsu released a new driver on 10 November for that scanner, it would be best to install that driver, to see if that will get that scanner working for you:

Feb 3, 2014 · Win7 64bit and SnapScan manager will not open. The latest sw is installed. One of the manager's features is to enable/facilitate searchable pdfs. This is one of my main reasons for buying the scanner. It's also one of its advertised features.
