Tomas Vrbada (Czech: Tomáš Vrbada), better known as Smoke (Czech: Kouř), is a Lin Kuei assassin in the Mortal Kombat fighting game series. Smoke made his debut in Mortal Kombat II as an unplayable secret character, appearing as a human before making his playable debut in Mortal Kombat 3 as a cyborg.

Able to transform into a wisp of smoke, his talent has proved useful on countless missions. Smoke has no memory of his childhood. His only family is the Lin Kuei, more specifically the younger Sub-Zero, who is like a brother to him.

Smoke is a very good run away character and can quickly teleport away from his opponent with his Smoke Away moves. Weaknesses Smokes biggest weakness is ironically his inability to deal block damage from across the screen.

His MK9 moveset is well done, minus a few awkward animations... for example, he looks like he's petting a furry animal during his fighting stance and he throws his palm-strike like someone who definitely doesn't know martial arts.
